The tax calculator, VAT invoice template and any tax-related guidance on this site are provided for general information only and do not constitute legal, accounting, financial, or tax advice. Tax rules change. For decisions that affect your tax position, you should consult a qualified accountant or HMRC directly.
4. Your data & responsibility
All data you enter is stored locally in your browser. You are responsible for backing up any drafts or expense records you wish to keep, and for the accuracy of the figures you enter.
We are not liable for any loss, missed deadline, or financial consequence resulting from use of the calculators or templates.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to interfere with the site's normal operation, security or hosting.
- Scrape, copy or redistribute the site or its tools at scale without permission.
6. Intellectual property
The site's design, code, copy, and branding are © FreelanceToolkit UK unless otherwise stated. You may use the tools to produce documents (invoices etc.) — those generated documents belong to you.
7. Third-party links & advertising
The site contains links to third-party websites (including HMRC and Google) and shows third-party advertising via Google AdSense. We have no control over the content of those external sites or ads and don't accept liability for them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreelanceToolkit UK is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
